September 22nd was International Night that drew a big crowd ready to dance with Latin genres ranging from salsa, rock, spoken word, cumbia, mambo, and ska - all performed by Bomba Fried Rice. Multi-cultural rhythms and beats got the crowd in the mood by opening act, Jimmy Toor. With the students back in town, things really started ramping up this night that also brought perfect weather. The event’s nonprofit beneficiary and volunteer group was International House Davis; a portion of proceeds from The Davisphere’s Beer & Wine Garden sales was donated to their organization.
