The Davis Downtown Business Association is energizing the downtown as the primary business, entertainment, and cultural center of Davis.
This new FREE event series features live music, family entertainment, traditional and eccentric food and beverage, a beer and wine garden, retail, service providers, arts and crafts, and nonprofit organizations.
The fun starts Thursdays (5:00-9:30pm) at Central Park through the end of October! Local performing arts groups kick the evening off, with bands opening thereafter. Headline bands perform until 9:00pm, and ambient music follows until 9:30pm. FREE for all to attend and enjoy!
Each week there is a new lineup of bands playing a great variety of music, from rock, reggae, Latin, jazz, orchestral, pop, bluegrass, Americana, popular covers, and more.
In addition, you’ll find us hosting a few festive theme nights providing interesting food, beverage, retail, and services within the pavilion. Find a spot in the park, or dance the night away!
Join us at the Park on Thursday nights through October. There will be different entertainment each night of the week, making Thursdays in The Davisphere an unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss! Children and pets are welcome so definitely bring them along!
There will be different family activities available like face painting, 360° Selfie Booth, an arts & crafts table, customized balloon twisting, food, drinks, and entertainment for all ages. We hope you join us!
We have lots of food and beverage options from your favorite local and regional eateries. Specialty treats including ethnic, sweet, savory, vegan, desserts, and comfort foods.
Many food options ensure you will not be waiting in long lines and you will have an abundance of options. Beverage options include Boba, lemonade, shaved ice, soda, and more!
At every Thursday in The Davisphere event, you will find our Beer & Wine Garden that has an amazing atmosphere within itself. Our featured alcohol vendor offers popular beer styles and local red and white wine.
The Beer & Wine Garden is a great place to hang out with family or friends, or is a perfect date night. Must be 21+ to enter the Beer & Wine Garden… but you can take your beer or wine out and enjoy it anywhere in the park! Enjoy stand up tabling and the fresh outdoors with a great view of the concert! A portion of all alcohol sales is donated to a different nonprofit each week.
Come out to enjoy these evenings of free entertainment set amongst our diverse community in Central Park! Shop and visit local vendor booths while listening to great music.
